Photo London returns with works from a who’s who of legendary photographers

Starting today, London’s Somerset House will play host to contemporary photography from 87 galleries across 17 countries. Now in its third year, the Photo London fair features solo displays from leading photographers, a discovery section of emerging talent, and a programme of publisher talks. The fair’s vast catalogue of fashion frames, which includes originals from Cathleen Naundorf, Peter Lindbergh, Helmut Newton, Horst P Horst, Herb Ritts, Irving Penn, Patrick Demarchelier and Norman Parkinson, will be exhibited together in this neoclassical landmark. Rare Polaroids, sketches and notebooks from Guy Bourdin are another major draw, and the fair also marks the first time Tim Walker’s Alexander McQueen with skull and cigarettes will be released on sale.
