It’s a rare occasion when two covetable fashion brands collide, and the Oliver Peoples pour Berluti collection falls during a seasonal shift when we’re naturally looking for new eyewear. Bravo chaps

Three sunglasses styles – each named after the streets that Berluti’s boutiques are located on – marry the French heritage label’s signature design details (yes, that lovely Venezia leather) and the modern aesthetic that has made Oliver Peoples the go-to spectacles brand of fashion editors.

The ‘Rue Marbeuf’ pair pays homage to Andy Warhol’s signature rotund shades, the ‘Conduit Street’ is a classic aviator shape and the ‘Rue de Sèvres’ ticks off a more masculine, square silhouette. Each of the three ‘street’ styles come in five versatile shades that have been matched to the specific patina of Berluti’s rich leather – Saint-Émilion, indigo denim, tobacco bis, nero grigio and nero verde.

There’s also a luxe Sheldrake leather model in the mix, with a strip of fine leather on the front face. The brown leather option is available on a nero grigio acetate and the black leather against tobacco bis.

Side note: the packaging is as lovely as you’d hope the £288- £370 sunglasses now. Snap up quickly.
